Code cleanup

Description:
    Changed prototype for the buffer in Attribute::write from "void *"
    to "const void *"

Platforms tested:
    FreeBSD 4.4 (hawkwind)
    SunOS 5.7 (arabica)
    Linux 6.2 (eirene)
